Equipping indigenous leaders
The church is Christ’s body. It’s influenced by its environment, community, pastor, leaders and people. As the community struggles or prospers, so the church may do the same. In addition to these factors, the Haitian church has also experienced government instability and natural disasters – hurricanes and the earthquake – which has shaped its journey.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, the church is alive and well in Haiti. Leaders are being trained, people are coming to faith, ministry is expanding, and God is at work. Indigenous leaders in all of our churches are stepping up and taking responsibility.
All of our churches are called Emmanuel Christian Church, followed by the location. We have planted churches in these locations:
